Sugar Skull Makeup

I did this make-up inspired by Mexican Day Of The Dead/ sugar skull. I looked at some photos on google and picked out bits and pieces from different ones that I liked, this is what I came up with. I made it very colourful because I love colours, and blue is my favourite colour so I made it mostly blue. I used black pencil eye-liner to sketch out the design after painting my face with white cream make-up, then I filled everything in with cream make-up. Mexican day of the dead / Día de Muertos, is a holiday celebrated in Mexico appreciating and remembering ancestors and family members who have passed.

Ali Hamlyton Review

I received these products to review from Ali Hamlyton. I got the easy felt tip eyeliner in royal plum, the eyeliner pencil in white and the eye shimmer in Star. They came nicely wrapped in pink tissue paper. You can purchase these products from Ali Hamlyton and many different distributers around Australia. Ali Hamlyton products are not tested on animals, contain minerals and ship free to Australia.

As you can see these products are very pigmented and the colours are beautiful. The felt tip eyeliner claims to be waterproof so I did a test and ran my hand under water for 10 seconds and then rubbed it with a tissue here's the result...

The colours remained strong. I was surprised the eye shimmer was still there!

This is the tip on the felt tip eyeliner

I like felt tip eyeliners the best because I find them easier to use and I could achieve a really nice sharp line with this eyeliner. The only downfall was that I had a bit of trouble with the felt tip eyeliner at first, it wasn't coming out strong at all but I left it sitting upside down for a while to let the ink soak up into it more and now it works just fine!

This is the applicator for the eye shimmer

The eye shimmer is so pigmented it's amazing! I like the applicator however whenever I open it I have to be careful because if you aren't little bits of shimmer fall out.

This is the white eyeliner

I like this eyeliner for the waterline and as a highlight. It's pigmented and I also think it's long lasting and waterproof

Here is an eyelook I created with these products

I used the felt tip eyeliner to create the wing
the eye shimmer all over the lid and also on the lower lashline
the white eyeliner on the waterline, inner corner and as a eyebrow highlight.

Frosty Eye Makeup

I was inspired to do some makeup art with my eyes, I was playing around and making my eyelashes white and just kept going without a plan really. I've wanted to try white eyelashes for a while now and I think it gives a awesome effect. I really like this look. I used cream makeup for this look. Here are two pictures of this eye makeup..

OCC Lip Tars Review

The OCC lip tars are 100% vegan and cruelty free. The pigmentation in their lip tars are amazing, the tiniest drop can cover your whole lip. Since they are so pigmented you need to be careful when applying them and its definitely best to use a lip brush, it's very nice that a lip brush is included. Upon application they are pretty glossy but if you gently dab it with a tissue you can remove the gloss and all the colour will still be there, they last all day long. The biggest downfall is that they transfer very easily however, if you remove the excess with a tissue it wont be as bad. They are priced at $18 US dollars but you can also get them in sets which end up being alot cheaper, my three came in a set. You can purchase them from sephora and there own website, http://occmakeup.com/ (they do ship internationally).
